Managing Users

One of the first big challenges we’ll face as we start building an enterprise level Drupal site is going to be user permission management. Installing this on my own small server and trying to wrap my head around the granularity of user roles and eventually the implementation of workflows is my own first milestone in understanding this CMS.

My goal is to create a number of user roles beyond the basic super-admin that installs with the site. Ideally, I’d like to have at least three creator-type accounts in which I can set up a basic authoring and approval workflow that might emulate the basic system we need to build.
